Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class A CDL with a current DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Operate diesel-powered tractor-trailer to transport and deliver products.
• Inspect trucks for defects; maintain logs per DOT and company policy.
• Follow supervisor instructions with daily transportation functions.
• Drive to destinations; navigate in narrow passageways when needed.
• Backhaul when applicable; unload/load at store with assistance.
• Maintain professional demeanor and timely deliveries to customers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Class A CDL Delivery Driver | Net Sign-On Bonus: $7,500 | New CDL Welcome!

Join the QCD Minneapolis family! Our drivers are responsible for the safe operation of company equipment and timely, courteous delivery of products to Fortune 500 company.

What to expect:

• Schedule: 4 day work week, 5 days option when available
• Dispatch: 3:00 PM (Starbucks)
• 10-14 hour work days
• Additional workdays/ OT days are available
• Component Pay + Paid Weekly
• Brand new 48' automatic Volvo tractor-trailers (reefers)
• Delivering/ down stacking v in-store via dolly or hand truck

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Performs daily transportation functions as directed by Supervisor.
• Local and team route options are available.
• Operates diesel-powered tractor-trailer combination trucks to transport and deliver products.
• Drives truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicles in difficult situations, such as narrow passageways.
• Inspects trucks for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck conditions.
• Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations and other federal and company-required records/logs.
• May be required to perform product backhaul when returning from the dispatched route.
• Unloads/loads product at the store with assistance from store personnel.
