Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Knoxville, TN with weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. You will deliver solo to TN, KY, NC with day cab tractors and 53' dry vans, and you will be trained on equipment as needed.

Ryder offers paid training, various bonuses, and a supportive team culture. Multiple schedules are available, with shifts based on bid systems and start times in the AM/PM.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
• 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the last 5 years, OR 5 years within the last 10 years

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Detect and mitigate safety hazards; maintain logs/records.
• Load/unload freight if required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
