Job summary

Carpenter Co. is seeking an OTR Driver to deliver finished products to external customers across a defined geographic area while upholding safety, DOT regulations, and company policies. You will represent Carpenter Co.

with professionalism and ensure timely, accurate delivery and unload at customer sites. The ideal candidate holds a Class A CDL, can lift up to 90 lbs, has a clean driving record, and is willing to participate in pre-employment drug testing.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A CDL including Manual Transmission Endorsement.
• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record.
• Must adhere to all DOT Regulations and practice safe driving techniques.
• Must maintain accurate paperwork and electronic DOT logs.
• Must unload finished product at each destination as required.
• Must be able to lift carpet cushion rolls weighing 50 to 90 lbs. each.
• Must follow all Carpenter Co. rules to include safety regulations, attendance and personal conduct.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a company vehicle to deliver finished products to external customers safely and on time within a defined geographic delivery area.
• Provide excellent service to customers, representing Carpenter Co. in a positive and professional manner.
• Unload product at the customer's location as specified in the delivery order.

Additional Information:

• Drivers are paid for all hours worked-Mileage-Hourly-Unloading Pay-Meals
• We also have Profit Sharing and a great Benefit Package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability and paid time off (Vacation and Holidays).
• Salary 1st year average is $88,000 and higher for Road Drivers!
• Sign on Bonus and/or tuition payback details will be discussed in person
