Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Packing and Shipping Operator to drive straight trucks or tractor-trailers, transporting products between facilities and staging loads on dock areas. You will spot trailers, load/unload, and maintain required records.

Must have a Class A CDL and a current medical certificate; Haz-Mat endorsement may be added after hire. Ability to lift 50–90 lbs and work at least eight hours daily is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate straight trucks or tractor-trailers

• Follow DOT and company safety rules

Responsibilities

• Drive a straight truck or tractor-trailer to haul products locally or out of town
• Spot trailers for loading/unloading; load and unload flatbed trucks
• Transport products between shipping departments and facilities; stage on dock
• Maintain trucks through basic maintenance and cleanliness; pass required tests
• Backup drivers may perform warehouse duties as assigned
• Perform other duties as required per supervisor
• Meet DOT requirements and obtain Haz-Mat endorsement after hire
