Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a qualified Operator to drive straight trucks or tractor-trailers, hauling products locally or out of town. You will spot trailers, load/unload, and perform related truck driving duties under supervision.

Responsibilities include moving goods between departments and facilities, keeping logs, and maintaining vehicles. Backups may perform warehouse duties; a Class A CDL and medical certificate are required, with Haz‑mat endorsement to be added to the license.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of the requirements per the Department of Transportation is a prerequisite for this job.
• This includes a Class A CDL and a current medical certificate card.
• The operator must possess the required license and medical certificate before commencing work on the job.
• The company will then make the necessary accommodations for the employee to have the Haz-mat endorsement added to their license.

Responsibilities

• Drive straight trucks or tractor-trailers to haul products locally or out of town.
• Spot trailers for loading and unloading and perform other truck driving duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Transport products between shipping departments, transport parts and stocks between facilities.
• Load and unload flatbed trucks and stage on dock; keep shuttle move logs and daily vehicle inspection logs.
• Maintain the trucks by cleaning, checking oil, and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Backup drivers may perform warehouse duties as assigned.
