Job summary

J Rose Logistics is seeking an experienced CDL-A driver based in Phoenix, AZ to haul freight across the Western states. This position offers top weekly earnings and a $3,000 sign-on bonus with 100% no-touch freight and predictable home time.

You will operate 53 ft tractors on mainly drop & hook and live unload loads, averaging about 1,800 miles per week with a 34-hour reset on weekends. DOT medical card and background check required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months Class A CDL driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate 53 ft tractor-trailer hauling freight in Western states.
• Maintain safe driving practices and comply with DOT regulations.
• Unload/load not required due to no-touch freight.

Compensation & Pay Details:

• Weekly Earnings: Top 20% of regional drivers average $1,250+ per week
• Sign-On Bonus: $3,000
• Detention Pay: $12.50 per hour after 2 hours (or higher per state law)
• Layover / Breakdown Pay: $100 per day (or higher per state law)

Schedule & Home Time:

• Home Time: Every Saturday and Sunday for a full 34-hour reset
• Operating Area: 80% Western States (WA, OR, CA, ID, NV, AZ, NM, CO, WY, MT, ND, SD) with occasional trips as far east as TX, OK, KS, and NE
• Mileage: Approximately 1,800 miles weekly (based on HOS and freight availability)
• Average Length of Haul: 300 miles

Freight & Equipment Details:

• 100% No-Touch Freight
• Load Mix: 50–60% Drop & Hook | 40–50% Live Unload
• Modern Fleet: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadia and Kenworth tractors

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Up-to-date DOT Medical Card
• Must pass standard pre-employment drug screening and background check
