Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks a Truck Driver to operate out of the Raleigh office. A Class A CDL is required for both manual and automatic transmissions. Benefits/Paid Time Off are available after 3 months for eligible hires.

The role involves securing loads, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining logs, and complying with DOT rules. Significant travel may be required and safety training is mandatory.

Qualifications

• CDL class A required (manual and automatic)
• Safety and general job training per SIC
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Secure loads properly and perform daily inspections of truck/trailer
• Report mechanical or safety issues with truck/trailer/equipment
• Inspect equipment to be hauled and maintain logs per DOT hours of service
• Coordinate movement of equipment according to signals
• Operate non-CDL equipment as needed
• Travel may be required and perform other duties as assigned
