Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks a CDL Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer rigs to transport equipment and crews to job sites in the Atlanta area. The role may involve rigging or crating work, load securement, and daily paperwork in a safety-conscious team environment.

The position requires a Class A CDL with air brakes and combo endorsements, plus 2+ years of CDL driving experience and 3+ years in related field work, preferably construction-related. DOT compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes and Combo endorsements.
• Minimum two (2) years proven CDL driving experience.
• Minimum three (3) years proven field experience, preferably in construction services.
• Basic knowledge of operating equipment (Forklifts, man lifts, mobile platforms).
• Experienced knowledge of load securement and safe hauling practices.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and hand, power and pneumatic tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
• Operate tractor-trailer safely under DOT regulations to job sites.
• Ensure loads are secured, tarped, and tied down.
• Perform electronic logging.
• Assist with rigging, crating where applicable.
• Complete daily paperwork.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety on site.
• Collaborate with team to move heavy loads safely.
