Hood Distribution is looking for aClass A CDL truck Driver (Back up warehouse)at theColumbus, OHfacility. Hood Distribution is a wholesale distributor of hardwood lumber, plywood, moldings, and related wood products whose customers include cabinet shops, millwork houses, retail lumber yards, and similar businesses.

The job of a driver is to deliver products safely and efficiently to customers along with handling any material. When working in the warehouse, you are responsible for supporting all warehouse operations, by receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading products. Candidates wishing to be considered for the CDL Truck Drivers position must possess aValid State’s CDL Class A Driver’s Licenseand have a clear driving record.

Job Responsibilities:

• CDL Truck Drivers (Class A) will deliver Lumber and Building Materials to Cabinet/Millwork Shops and Lumber Dealers.
• Follow trucking Dispatcher/Trucking Logistics directions, ensuring all Trucking Deliveries are performed accurately, and in a timely manner.
• CDL Truck Drivers (Class A) will assist Customers with Unloading Truck as needed.
• Ensure all Deliver Materials are properly loaded onto the Trucks and securely fastened for travel in accordance with Company Standards
• CDL Truck Drivers (Class A) will comply with all DOT regulations and ensure a Safe Working Environment is maintained at all times.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned to the DCL Truck Drivers (Class A) as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must possess aValid State’s CDL Class A Driver’s License
• Driving Record must be clean/good
• Must be familiar with, andable to operate a Forkliftas needed.
• Ability to work independently, as well as a Team atmosphere
• Professional and customer-oriented attitude.

Pay range: $21.00 - $24.00
