Job Title: Truck Driver Class A CDL

Garpiel Group is hiring a full-time/year-round HOME DAILY Class A CDL Driver!

Starting pay up to $28/hour based on experience. Minimum of 6 months experience required.

Manual transmission experience & a clean driving record are a MUST!

Summary of Responsibilities

The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Hauling materials to and from job sites
• Transporting materials to the dump
• Moving machinery between sites
• Reviewing load lists and visually inspecting loads
• Determining trailer space versus load for proper distribution
• Loading and unloading trucks, checking weights
• Securing loads to prevent damage
• Distributing paperwork after loading
• Operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all safety standards
• Performing other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL
• Valid DOT medical card
• Experience with 18-speed transmissions
• Ability to operate a CMV with a manual transmission
• Experience hauling and operating track loaders and excavators
• Experience operating heavy loaders
• Clean driving record
