Zusammenfassung

Pencco, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A driver with HazMat and Tanker endorsements to operate a truck and tanker trailer, load and deliver hazmat chemicals to customers, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage daily logs in Samsara, complete required paperwork, and maintain vehicle readiness while traveling on assigned routes; overtime may be available and a 401K and benefits package is provided.

Qualifikationen

• DOT road test with a manual transmission.
• Maintain MEC as required by DOT.

Description

OTR/Regional position operating truck and tanker trailer in a safe manner to load and deliver hazmat chemicals products to customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Loads and unloads tanker with product adhering to all company and loading terminal, governmental regulations, and industry standards.
• Transports loads over required route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Keep Samsara ELD daily logs properly updated and certified.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established company procedures.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and other related articles as necessary.
• Performs all safety inspections on trucks, equipment and or facilities as required by company policy.
• Report and communicate all accidents, incidents, or spills immediately.
• Report any equipment malfunctions and or concerns to driver manager.

General Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and deliver product for Pencco, Inc.
• Perform specific tasks as assigned by plant manager or dispatch.
• Promote and support company image standards.
• Adhere to all city, county, state, and federal regulations.
• Follow the work schedule as posted unless a change in schedule is arranged by Plant manager or dispatch.

Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

Experience: 2 years CDL-Class A experience, HazMat and Tanker Endorsement with minimum of 6 months Tanker experience.

A successful candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. DOT road test with a manual transmission. Maintain annual MEC.

SPECIALIZED REQUIREMENTS:

• Must provide a valid commercial driver’s license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement for the state in which you are applying for work.
• Current MVR detailing driving record within company standards.
• Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements, pass substance abuse screening, and agree to random substance abuse screening as required by company policy. Familiarity of Samsara and Paylocity a plus.
• May require additional requirements to acquire TWIC credential.

Language and/or Communication Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to communicate using devices supplied by the company.

Mathematics Skills:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.

Physical Demands:

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit, stand, talk, listen, and walk. The team member is required to sit in a cab for long periods of time.
• Other requirements include the use of tools, operate controls, reach with hands and arms to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The team member driver must regularly lift and or move hoses and fittings that weigh up to 50 pounds and have the ability to climb steps and ladders.
• Team member must possess a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of a tractor trailer/bobtail as to prevent damage to property and vehicle equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

JOB SPECIFIC PHYSICAL TESTS:

Lifts/carries 50 pounds occasionally, pushing/pulling a maximum force of 75 pounds; Safe Lifting criteria, floor to knuckle 50 pounds, shoulder to overhead 50 pounds; PDC Level, heavy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member occasionally works in high, precarious places, in outside weather conditions, is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and cold outside temperatures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Safety guidelines according to company handbook must be followed in the work environment at all times.

Standard workdays: (Mon - Sun)

Driver may be assigned a sleeper tractor and required to be out of town for 5-6 days at a time.
