Dayton Freight Lines is opening a Camp Hill, PA Service Center in Fall/Winter 2026. Transportation Drivers are offered $0.84 per mile with an average of about $2,300 per week, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.

Responsibilities include safe transport between service centers, pre/post trip inspections, proper placarding, forklift use when needed, and flexible scheduling to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazardous Materials and Tank Endorsement.
• Valid DOT Physical/Medical Card.
• No DUI or Reckless Operations in the past 3 years.
• Less than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to pass a drug screen.
• At least 23 years of age.
• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport, load and unload freight between Service Centers.
• Perform pre and post trip inspections on tractor/trailer.
• Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle.
• Interact with internal customers.
• Safely operate a forklift to unload/load when indicated.
• Be available for irregular work schedules, extended trips away, alternating shifts.
• Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines.

Mileage rate is $0.84 per mile

Responsibilities

Transportation Drivers are responsible for transporting, loading and unloading freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner between our Service Centers.

• Perform pre and post trip inspections on tractor/trailer
• Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
• Interact and converse with internal customers
• Safely operate a forklift to unload/ load products when indicated and needed
• Be available for irregular work schedules, extended trips away from domiciled Service Center, alternating work shifts and/or assignments
• Adhere to the operational procedures and guidelines

Physical Demands
