Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Driver for our Greater Austin, TX team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

This role operates on-site at a client location in Taylor, TX, with a focus on safety, accurate logs, and timely service delivery. The position requires a Class A CDL, 1-3+ years tanker experience, and an Active Tanker endorsement, with a strong safety mindset and ability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• 1-3+ years tanker driving experience.
• Active Tanker endorsement.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and is safety-sensitive.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with regulations.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following DOT regulations.
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load to ensure safe transportation of materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Driver for our Greater Austin, TX team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class A commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

This position reports to the Operations Director. This role is based on-site at a client location in Taylor, TX.

Responsibilities:

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles is required.
• Previous experience in environmental services or related field.
• Active Hazmat endorsement
