Job summary

Denali is seeking a reliable Retail Route Driver with a Class A CDL to run a 5-day, early‑AM route out of Lakeland, FL. You will pick up and haul food waste from retail locations, supervise loading/unloading, and maintain safety and accuracy on each stop.

The role requires adherence to all safety procedures, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently on a scheduled route with potential long hours. Sign-on bonuses and retention incentives are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Non-Exempt Interstate driver status
• Clean MVR and PSP
• Minimum 2 years tractor-trailer experience (or 1 year if trucking school graduate or military)
• Age 21+ (or 23+ with 2 years' experience)
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Strong safety record and DOT compliance
• Good communication and customer service

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer on regional/interstate routes
• Complete 15–25 stops per day
• Load, haul, and deliver food waste
• Operate 30–45' open-top trailers and combination vehicles
• Use DOT logs and maintain accurate records
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain truck cleanliness and basic equipment
• Communicate with customers and operations team
