Job summary

Denali is seeking a Class A CDL Driver for local end-dump routes based in Lake City, FL. This full-time, hourly position emphasizes safe, on-time deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, and strong communication with dispatch and customers.

Role requires CDL-A (preferred), clean driving record, and ability to meet safety standards. Compensations include generous sign-on bonuses and performance-based incentives; live in Lake City area with potential for long-term growth in logistics.

Qualifications

• Valid Class CDL-A license (preferred).
• Valid Class B with Grapple truck experience or willingness to train to operate one.
• Strong time management and route consistency skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in operating manual and automatic transmissions.
• Experience using an Electronic Logging System (People Net).
• Knowledge of hydraulics is a plus.
• Basic computer and cell phone skills.
• Ability to read/write/speak English to communicate with the public and complete reports.
• Must be 21+ and have a clean MVR and DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment across a regional footprint as determined by management.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Operate manual/automatic transmissions per DOT and local laws.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic repairs with tools.
• Use electronic logging system for driver logs and paperwork submission.
• Communicate with dispatch to optimize route planning and scheduling.
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
• Attend safety calls and training sessions; participate in weekly safety meetings.
