Job summary

Denali is seeking a Class A CDL Retail Route Driver to ensure timely, safe delivery of food waste across a regional footprint centered around Gastonia and Charlotte, NC. You will operate dump trailers, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and coordinate with dispatch to meet schedules.

This safety-sensitive role requires adherence to DOT regulations, strong communication with customers, and the ability to handle 60-hour weeks seasonally.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL (or equivalent) with clean MVR/PSP.
• Must be 23+ with 2 years tractor-trailer experience, or 21+ with 1 year if trained.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver food waste on intra- and interstate routes (15–25 stops/day).
• Operate open-top dump trailers regionally.
• Drive manual and automatic transmissions per DOT laws.
• Use pallet jacks as needed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform inspections.
• Submit paperwork (maintenance logs, service tickets, etc.).
