Job Description

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvos are the safest truck on the road! Ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, Auxiliary power units, Dual antennas, Flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair, wash bay.

Pay

Start pay: .55cpm - .58cpm, paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Detention, layover, and additional pay vary. Average weekly pay: $2,600-$3,200. Paid weekly via direct deposit. Work this week, get paid next. No hold.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our running area. Some may stay out longer with additional compensation. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and honored. Drivers can request home time needs. We accommodate special events and appointments when possible.

Loads & Routes

98% freight originates in MO. Over 55% drop and hook. Remaining loads are 1 pick-1 drop, dry van or reefer, mostly in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no ports, no borders. Mostly contracted freight, no dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J.

Rider Policy

One passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

$500 fee per pet. Up to 2 small or 1 large dog. Deduction of $100/week until paid. Policy non-refundable once pet is in truck. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.
