Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. We operate safe Volvo tractors with all the latest features, offering high miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

- 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Features include ergonomically designed seats, perfect steering position, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger built-in refrigerators, Auxiliary power units with 3500W inverter, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, onsite repair facility, and wash bay.

Pay

- Starting pay ranges from .55cpm to .58cpm, paid on practical miles whether loaded or empty. Additional pays include detention, layover, and other load-specific compensations. Average weekly pay is between $2,600 and $3,200, paid weekly via direct deposit with no hold.

Home Time

- Drivers typically get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our operating area. Some areas may allow longer stretches out with up to 4 days off. Home time arrangements are confirmed prior to hiring and can be adjusted for special events or appointments.

Loads & Routes

- 98% of freight originates in Missouri, with over 55% being drop and hook. Most freight is palletized dry van or reefer loads, primarily in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no west of Denver, no ports or borders. Freight is mostly contracted, with a mix of dry van and reefer loads, using major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling stations.

Rider & Canine Policies

- Riders: 1 passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1.

- Canine: $500 fee per pet, 2 small or 1 large dog, with deductions until paid off. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds. Pet policy is non-refundable once the pet is placed in the truck.
