Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvo is the safest truck on the road! Ergonomically designed seats, 70" L /96 W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, Auxiliary power units (manual power inverter with 3500W), Dual antennas, Flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales on trucks and trailers, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges, on-site repair, wash bay.

Pay

Start pay .55cpm - .58cpm, paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Detention, layover, and other pays vary. Average weekly pay $2600-$3200, paid weekly via direct deposit. No hold.

Home Time

Drivers get 2 full days off after 12-14 days out in our area. Some may stay out longer with additional days off. Home time is confirmed in writing before hiring. Accommodations for special events and appointments are considered.

Loads & Routes

98% freight from MO, mostly drop and hook, some 1 pick-1 drop. Dry van and reefer loads, mostly in the US middle corridor. No NY City, no ports, no borders. Mostly highway freight, no dedicated routes. Fueling at Pilot/Flying J.

Policies

• Rider policy: 1 passenger 12+ years, available from day 1.
• Canine policy: $500 fee, 2 small or 1 large dog, weekly deduction until paid, non-refundable once placed. No cats, reptiles, or birds.
