Job Description

Class A CDL OTR High Mile Drivers

Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years! 200 Company drivers keep families across America supplied with essential household goods. Safe Volvo tractors with all the bells and whistles on them. High miles, consistent paychecks, and solid home time. We are a team. We are strong. Together we can get things done.

Equipment

• 2022 or newer Volvo 760, automatic trucks. Volvo is the safest truck on the road! Ergonomically designed seats, 70" L / 96" W sleepers, pull-out tabletop, larger refrigerators, Auxiliary power units, dual antennas, flat screen TV mount, satellite radios, right way scales, Elite Pass for scales, tolls, bridges, on-site repair, wash bay.

Pay

• Start pay: .55cpm - .58cpm, paid loaded or empty on practical miles. Detention, layover, and additional pay vary by load and hours. Average weekly pay: $2600-$3200. Paid weekly by direct deposit. Work this week, get paid next. No hold.

Home Time

• Drivers get 2 full days off after working 12-14 days within our area. Some drivers may stay out longer and get up to 4 days off. Home time is agreed upon prior to hiring and honored. Notify dispatch of home time needs. We try to accommodate special events and appointments.

Loads & Routes

• 98% freight from MO, mostly drop and hook. No NY City, no ports, no borders. Mainly in the US middle corridor. Mostly contracted freight, dry van and reefer loads, no dedicated routes, using major highways and Pilot/Flying J fueling points.

Rider Policy

• 1 passenger 12 years or older, available from day 1.

Canine Policy

• $500 fee per pet, 2 small or 1 large dog, weekly deduction until paid, non-refundable once placed. No policy for cats, reptiles, or birds.

Requirements

• 1-year recent tractor-trailer experience, no more than 3 violations in 3 years. Veterans & women encouraged to apply, second chance employer.
