Job summary

Diamond Line Delivery Systems is seeking a Class A CDL Line Haul Driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations between service centers, ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time. Our drivers typically run consistent schedules and are home daily, offering stability and balance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements (Hazmat, Doubles/Triples preferred).
• Minimum 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience (or approved driving school completion).
• Current DOT Medical Card and ability to meet DOT physical requirements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check, drug, and alcohol screening.
• Understanding of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety standards.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull freight up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Pick up and deliver freight to customer locations or between terminals on scheduled routes.
• Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual methods when required.
• Ensure proper handling, securing, and documentation of all shipments.
• Maintain accurate logs, delivery records, and handheld device entries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Provide professional customer service at all delivery and pickup locations.
• Follow all safety protocols, including hazardous materials handling when applicable.
