Position Overview

As an LTL Linehaul Driver at Diamond Line Delivery Systems, Inc., you will be an integral part of our long-haul transportation team, responsible for transporting Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight over regional and long-distance routes. Your commitment to safety, professionalism, and on-time deliveries will contribute to our reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and drive tractor-trailer combinations over established routes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport LTL freight between terminals and distribution centers, ensuring timely and secure deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies to ensure compliance and safety.
• Utilize electronic logging devices and other technology for accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service during interactions with clients and at delivery locations.
• Must be able to lift and move freight of up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and operating equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Class A CDL license with Tanker, Hazmat, Doubles / Triples endorsement Preferred.
• Previous experience in LTL linehaul or long-haul trucking is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to handle loading and unloading as necessary.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules and overnights.
