Position Overview:

As an LTL Box Truck Driver at Diamond Line Delivery Systems, Inc., you will be a crucial member of our local delivery team, responsible for transporting Less Than Truckload (LTL) freight to various destinations within a designated region. Your dedication to safety, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service will contribute to our reputation as a trusted logistics partner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive box trucks to transport LTL freight to specified locations.
• Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring the secure transportation of goods.
• Must be able to lift and move freight of up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and operating equipment.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain the safety and efficiency of the vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Utilize electronic logging devices and other technology for accurate record-keeping.
• Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor during deliveries.

Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred. Non-Class A License holders are also welcomed.
• Previous experience in box truck operations or local delivery is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and commitment to safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to handle loading and unloading of freight.
