Overview

Responsibilities

As a Skilled Class A CDL Laborer/Groundman, you will support all phases of utility construction for telecom projects. You believe in doing the job right and being the best, and you're ready for the challenge.

1. Compensation: $28-32/hr, based on experience.
2. Overtime pay at 1.5x the regular rate for hours over 8 per day or 40 per week, in accordance with California labor laws.
3. Paid rest breaks and unpaid meal breaks as per California law.
4. Employment is at-will, meaning either party can terminate at any time with or without cause or notice.
5. Schedule: Full-time; hours vary based on project needs.

Additional duties include:

• Manual tasks such as trenching, unloading materials, and site prep using hand tools.
• Working outdoors at utility construction sites.
• Transporting heavy equipment daily.
• Building and maintaining cable systems.
• Troubleshooting issues in the field.
• Learning and training on various tools and equipment.

Qualifications
