Job summary

The Ruhlin Company in Wadsworth, Ohio seeks a Heavy Haul Truck Driver to operate various trailers and transport construction equipment safely. The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience with a strong focus on safety regulations and effective communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ commercial driving experience with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience in hauling heavy equipment and materials.
• Pass DOT physical and background and drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, flatbed, step deck, and lowboy trailers.
• Transport equipment and materials safely and timely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.

Skills

Current Class A CDL Driver’s License

Commercial driving experience

Knowledge of truck mechanics

Effective communication skills

Knowledge of DOT regulations
