Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a CDL-A; Tanker endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, but can be obtained during training.
• No BACs, DUIs, DWIs or license suspensions in the last 7 years.
• Able to pass DOT physical and drug test.
• Able to work nights and weekends (Tue–Sat), starting 1 PM for 8–12 hour shifts.
• Knowledge of driving safety rules; hazardous materials knowledge preferred.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license; CDL-A with Air/Tanker.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives commercial vehicles during afternoon shifts (8–12 hours).
• Loads, unloads, and moves fuels from terminal to customer or company locations.
• Follows company policies and federal/state regulations.
• Keeps a safe driving record and reports incidents as required.
• Maintains clean equipment, cab, and uniforms; communicates repairs promptly.
• Completes accurate delivery documentation and inventory control records.
• Uses internal systems and handheld devices for delivery tasks.
• Takes direction from dispatchers and maintains professional relationships.
• Communicates with team and customers in a professional manner.
• Stays calm in stressful situations and adapts to changes smoothly.
• Offers ideas to improve efficiency and solve problems.

Description

Summary

Drivers for Crystal Flash (CF) are valued team members who are responsible for delivering fuels, propane, and related products to customer or company locations in a safe and efficient manner. Team members are expected to support the company's mission and vision by demonstrating the following values: integrity, safety and environmental protection, customer service, open communication, diversity, teamwork, and financial responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently drives commercial vehicles during specified shifts on a 24/7 work week in all types of weather conditions.


• Loads, unloads, and moves fuels safely from the terminal to customer or company locations in a timely manner.


• Follows company policies and federal and state regulations.


• Keeps a safe record regarding accidents, driving record, injuries, and other actions/events, following all company safety guidelines.


• Maintains clean equipment, uniforms, and cab space, ensuring any repairs are communicated promptly.


• Completes accurate and timely documentation for the delivery of product, volume of delivery, and inventory control management.


• Appropriately uses internal systems, handheld devices, and other electronic equipment for work purposes.


• Takes direction from dispatchers and/or managers, following delivery instructions and maintaining good working relationships.


• Communicates with team members, management, and customers in a professional and courteous manner.


• Stays calm and levelheaded in stressful situations and refrains from emotional outbursts.


• Adopts new methods, procedures, and changes in a positive manner.


• Offers suggestions to improve efficiency and solutions to solve problems.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Certificates, licenses, registrations: Required: Valid Michigan driver’s license; CDL-A with Air/Tanker. Hazmat endorsement & CETP certification preferred, but can be obtained during training.

General Requirements, Education and/or Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age or older with a Commercial Driver's License, Class A
Tanker endorsement required. Hazmat must be obtained during training.
At least 1 yr of previous truck driving experience preferred, but not needed.
No BACs, DUIs, DWIs, or license suspensions for moving violations in the past 7 years.
No major preventable accidents within the past year
No reckless driving convictions in the last 7 years in a personal or commercial vehicle
Able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.
Able to work nights and weekends, Tuesday through Saturday, starting at 1 PM for an 8–12-hour shift
Knowledge of driving safety rules and regulations
Knowledge of mechanics and hazardous materials preferred.
Good communication and human relations skills
