Herman N Logistics is seeking a Class-A Local Dedicated Flatbed Driver to run local poultry-hauling routes from the Selbyville, DE hub, with a Monday–Friday schedule and home daily. Start times range from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The position offers a stable base pay with an average of $75,000 per year, plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus and additional pay for live stops, detention, holidays, orientation, and training. A minimum of 9 months of verified tractor-trailer experience is required.

Class-A Local Dedicated Flatbed Driver | Selbyville, DE Hub | $75,000 Annualized + $7,500 Sign-On Bonus

• Steady Paycheck: Pull in an average of $75,000 a year, built on a solid base pay ranging from $0.50 to $0.52 per mile.


• Sign-On Cash: Pocket a massive, limited-time $7,500 sign-on bonus right out of the gate.


• Extra Stackable Pay: Add to your weekly check with honest ancillary pay: $46 to $47 per live stop, $15/hr detention pay when you're stuck waiting, $250/day holiday pay, and $250/day while you're going through orientation and training.

The Local Flatbed Routes & Cargo Handling

• Local Ag Runs: Run local farm-to-facility routes within a comfortable 300-mile radius of our Selbyville, DE terminal hub, averaging about 1,024 miles, 15 loads, and 20 stops every week.


• Flatbed Work: Haul live poultry on 45-foot to 48-foot flatbed trailers, strapping down cage loads using a cheater bar right at the local farm pickups.


• Equipment: Roll out in comfortable, automatic day cabs.

Predictable Schedule & Daily Home Time

• Home Daily: Get back to your own bed every single day on a dependable Monday through Friday schedule with start times between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM (plus just 1 to 2 Saturdays required a month).


• Holidays Off: Enjoy Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day completely off so you can actually spend them with your people.

Rig Setup & Driver Qualifications

• Experience Needed: Open to drivers bringing at least 9 months of verified tractor-trailer experience to the table.


• Drug Screening: Strict safety standards requiring clean results on pre-employment dual-panel hair follicle and urine toxicology screens.
