Job summary

J and M Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to support civil-site and utilities projects in central and southwest Virginia. You will be responsible for safe operation of dump trucks, perform pre/post-trip checks, and support daily field tasks while maintaining truck cleanliness and compliance with regulations.

We value hands-on, hardworking individuals willing to tackle challenging jobs and Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive manual transmission.
• Must be a Virginia resident.
• Must pass drug and background screening.
• Must be available to work Saturdays.
• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Previous dump truck experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump truck to construction sites in compliance with regulations.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and basic repairs as needed.
• Familiarity with local roads in the area is preferred.

We are currently seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to drive manual transmission
• Must drive dump truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Must be able to make daily pre / post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle in order to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions including checking for damaged work parts or for any signs of tampering
• Must be able to comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook
• Must be a Virginia resident
• Must be a leader who is looking to grow
• Must pass drug and background screening
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Valid CDL Class A commercial driver's license required
• Previous dump truck experience is required
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
