Job summary

J and M Infrastructure in Virginia seeks an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to support civil site and utilities projects. You will operate dump trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards on our central Virginia sites.

We value a strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work Saturdays. Prior dump truck experience and road familiarity with local routes are preferred; Virginia residency is required.

J and M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor, who excels in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, storm drainage, throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to drive manual transmission
• Must drive dump truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Must be able to make daily pre / post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle in order to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions including checking for damaged work parts or for any signs of tampering
• Must be able to comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver's Handbook
• Must be a Virginia resident
• Must be a leader who is looking to grow
• Must pass drug and background screening
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Valid CDL Class A commercial driver's license required
• Previous dump truck experience is required
• Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
• Familiarity of roads in the area is preferred
