Job summary

J and M Infrastructure in Virginia is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our civil-site and utilities team.

You will operate dump trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, adhere to DOT regulations, and help on-site with daily tasks. This role requires leadership, reliability, and willingness to work Saturdays; Virginia residency and a clean driving record are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must drive dump truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
• Must be able to make daily pre / post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle to maintain safety.

J and M Infrastructure is a Civil-Site & Utilities Contractor, who excels in Civil Construction and Site Development Contracting, with an emphasis on Utilities and Excavation. We assist with new construction projects by performing demolition, clearing, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete work, water mains, sewer, storm drainage, throughout central and southwest Virginia.

We are currently seeking an experienced Class A CDL Dump Truck Driver. This candidate must be highly motivated with a strong work ethic, possess a positive can-do attitude, willing to get hands dirty and do whatever it takes to get the job done.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to drive manual transmission
• Must drive dump truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations
• Must be able to make daily pre / post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle in order to maintain maximum vehicle safety conditions including checking for damaged work parts or for any signs of tampering
• Must be able to comply with all aspects of truck maintenance, cleanliness, and repair in accordance with the guidelines specified in the Truck Driver’s Handbook
• Must be a Virginia resident
• Must be a leader who is looking to grow
• Must pass drug and background screening
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Valid CDL Class A commercial driver’s license required
