Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a Class A Driver/Yard Jockey/Forklift Operator to support our transportation department in a part-time role. The position requires operating a tractor-trailer, yard movement, and forklift tasks with attention to safety and regulatory compliance.

Shifts include 1st and 2nd, weekdays and weekends, with a wage of $25.00 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential where applicable. This role reports to the Distribution Manager and offers cross-functional responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must maintain a Class A CDL and comply with all DOT regulations.
• Ability to safely operate power equipment and load/unload product.
• Strong communication with dispatch, drivers, and customers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a truck/yard environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport trailers from yard to dock and dock to yard.
• Load/unload product using power equipment and secure cargo.
• Maintain clean interior of truck and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to schedules and communicate any delays to Dispatch.
