How You Will Make a Difference

CK is looking to hire Class A CDL drivers as a Bulk Liquid CO2 Delivery Driver with delivery to CK and customer sites. This route is local and will allow the driver to return home every evening! The Bulk Liquid CO2 Delivery Driver is responsible for the correct, timely and safe delivery of products to CK production facilities and to customer locations. This individual represents the company in a professional manner while interacting with customers on product, delivery, pricing or other business related needs.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver products to customers while abiding by load safety, DOT, and general safe driving guidelines as well as CK standard operating procedures.
  • Exhibit a courteous and professional image to others at all times.
  • Complete daily electronic trip reports and shipping papers concerning deliveries.
  • Maintain the proper cleanliness of assigned vehicles and carefully review pre and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate repair needs and issues to the Fleet Manager.
  • Load and unload liquid CO2 to and from the delivery vehicle.
  • Fill bulk tanks at customer and production facilities.
  • Conform to uniform and safety equipment policies.
  • Communicate with customers and relay pertinent information back to the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent with a minimum of 3 years prior over the road or local product delivery experience.
  • Must have a current Class A CDL.
  • A HAZMAT endorsement is required (or ability to obtain).
  • A Tanker Endorsement is required (or ability to obtain).
  • Must have a good driving record exhibited by state MVR reports.
  • Must have a current DOT medical card, and the ability to pass all DOT requirements.
  • Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people.
  • Capable of completing basic mathematical calculations and entering correct information on logs and other reports.
  • Vision is correctable to within normal range for vehicle driving and completion of records.
  • The ability to move or lift products and materials of varied sizes and weights up to 50lbs without assistance.
  • Capable of working in diverse and often times unpleasant weather conditions.
  • Ability to drive in all types of weather conditions.
  • Ability to sit, bend, stoop, lift, climb and stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to operate all necessary equipment.
  • Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks, as well as with a team to ensure the success of the department.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
