Cohen Recycling in Middletown, OH is seeking a full-time Driver Class A to transport materials safely and efficiently. You will load, secure, and unload cargo, plan routes, and perform pre-trip inspections to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a CDL, 1 year of experience, clean driving record, and willingness to work a daytime schedule with occasional weekend coverage. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• CDL required and valid for Class A vehicle.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL trucking experience.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents.
• DOT physical and medical requirements satisfied.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electronic logbook and dispatch software.
• Operate equipment such as roll-off and dump trucks.
• Safely load/unload cargo and secure it for transit.
• Plan routes to meet deadlines; optimize fuel use.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow hours-of-service regulations and traffic laws.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch and managers.
• Assist with loading/unloading and verify freight counts.
• Operate liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
• Keep truck clean and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to PPE use and safety protocols at all times.
• Provide professional customer service and address inquiries.
