Job summary

Clayton is seeking a CDL Driver to coordinate safe and timely delivery of products and materials. The role requires maintaining logs, reports, and compliance with FMCSA/USDOT regulations while ensuring excellent customer service and professional interaction with sales teams.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL, a strong driving record, and prior experience in driving and basic vehicle maintenance. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Three+ years of professional driving experience, including mountain driving.
• Excellent driving record with no DUI/DOT violations in the past 3 years.
• Prior customer service experience with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and log daily truck activities and fuel/expense receipts.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA/USDOT regulations and complete IFTA reports.
• Coordinate with production management and customers for load movements.
• Inspect vehicles daily and perform basic maintenance or report needs.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading and secure proper signatures on shipping docs.
• Communicate effectively with sales reps to schedule deliveries and routes.
