Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Rockford, IL is hiring CDL Class A drivers. You can choose weekly, weekend, or every-two-weeks home time, so you don’t have to pick one forever. After training you go solo and for the first 3 months you receive a $1,000 weekly guaranteed pay.

The route mainly serves the Northeast with 1,700–2,400 miles weekly, plus stop pay and a monthly performance bonus. Benefits start after 30 days, including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, orientation pay, and

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and age 21 or older.
• 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school, or 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years and no major preventable accidents in 5.
• No DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years.
• Pass DOT physical plus hair and urine testing.
• Live within 200 miles of Gary, IN.

Responsibilities

• Operate freight-hauling routes between the Northeast and home time options.
• Follow dispatch instructions and maintain safety and log compliance.
• Assist in orientation and training during initial period as required.

Starting Fresh With Your CDL

If you just finished school, you ride with an experienced trainer first and collect a guaranteed training check every week. After training you go straight to solo pay, and your first 3 months on your own come with a $1,000 weekly guarantee.

The Money

• Average Weekly: $1,100 to $1,700 depending on miles and home time choice
• Stop Pay: $15 for each stop except the first and last
• Bonus: Monthly performance program
