Job summary

Sahara Express Inc. is hiring Class A CDL OTR Drivers for our Amazon Freight Partner operation. This position offers consistent OTR work with about a 5 days out schedule and 48 hours of home time each week.

Drivers operate late-model sleeper tractors, with no-touch, drop & hook freight. hourly pay applies and you’ll have predictable schedules, paid orientation, vacation, and benefits. Direct employment with Sahara Express Inc.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
• No current CDL suspension or revocation.
• Be comfortable using smartphone apps, GPS/navigation and ELDs.
• Speak, read and write English required for CDL operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A sleeper tractor hauling Amazon loads on scheduled OTR routes.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain DOT/HOS compliance.
• Communicate with Dispatch throughout the trip as needed.

Sahara Express is hiring Class A CDL OTR Drivers for our Amazon Freight Partner operation. This position is a great fit for drivers who want the consistency of OTR work without being away from home for weeks at a time.

Drivers are out 5 days with 48 hours of home time each week, operating late-model sleeper trucks and hauling Amazon freight. Routes are no-touch freight and primarily drop & hook, allowing you to spend more time driving and less time waiting on loading and unloading.

What You’ll Do

You’ll operate a Class A sleeper tractor hauling Amazon loads across scheduled OTR routes. Drivers are responsible for safely completing assigned trips, following Amazon Relay navigation and schedules, completing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining DOT/HOS compliance, and communicating with Dispatch throughout the trip when necessary.

• Be able to speak, read and write English as required for CDL operations

This is a 5-day-out position, so applicants must be comfortable sleeping in the truck while on the road and returning home for approximately 48 hours between weekly rotations.
