Job summary

Sahara Express INC is seeking full-time Class A CDL Short Haul Drivers to haul Amazon loads exclusively for Amazon Freight Partner from Easton, MA. You will operate brand-new sleeper cabs on round-trip routes with 36-hour shifts and generous home time.

You will earn $25.00 per hour with benefits and a weekly bonus, with on-site work supported by modern equipment and technology. Must have CDL A, pass DOT, and a clean MVR/DAC, with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
• Must successfully Pass DOT Physical.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• No current CDL suspension or revocation.
• Clean MVR and DAC report.
• Must be able to use handheld technology and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Haul Amazon loads (primarily no touch freight) using Amazon-branded equipment and technology, including brand new sleeper cabs.
• Service round-trip routes on 36 hour shifts (13 hour run-10 hour break-13 hour run) with an average of 2 trips per week.
• Contribute to meeting Amazon’s on-time delivery commitments and exceed customer expectations.

Class A CDL Drivers for Amazon Freight Partner (Home every 2 days)

Sahara Express INCis hiring full-time, motivated Class A CDL Short Haul Drivers with a clean driving record for its Amazon Freight Partner program. We are a local small business with the benefits of a large company. We haul exclusively for Amazon and are making on-the-spot job offers contingent on meeting eligibility and background check requirements.

What you’ll do:

Haul Amazon loads (primarily no touch freight) using state of the artAmazon-branded equipmentandtechnology, including brand new sleeper cabs

Service round-trip routes on36 hour shifts (13 hour run-10 hour break-13 hour run)with an average of 2 trips one week, and 1 and 1/2 the following week.

Play an important and respected role in keeping Amazon’s commitment toexceed customer expectationsand deliver packages on time and at the right place

What you’ll need:

Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to communicate with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records

• Must be able to use handheld technology and smart phone applications such as GPS

You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partnerswithAmazon.
