Job summary

The Sygma Network, Inc. is seeking a professional truck driver to safely and efficiently transport product from our warehouse to customer locations, delivering on time and in accordance with invoices and company standards.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, maintaining accurate DOT logs and delivery paperwork, ensuring food safety and sanitation, and communicating any route or loading issues to management. Overnight shifts and weekends may be required to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and to complete reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations and delivers on time according to route.
• Unloads product from trailer by hand or using hand cart, following safety procedures.
• Picks up and returns damaged goods and customer returns to the warehouse.
• Maintains accurate paperwork including DOT logs, inspections, vehicle reports and invoices.
• Ensures food safety protocols and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse areas.
• Communicates deviations to route, trailer or loading issues to management.
• Operates equipment including hand cart, pallets, load bars and on-board computer.
• Maintains regular attendance and works as needed to meet customer needs.
