Job summary

The Sygma Network, Inc. is seeking a truck driver to safely transport products from the warehouse to customer locations. Responsibilities include unloading, paperwork, and ensuring on-time delivery while following food-safety and DOT regulations.

This role requires a valid Class A CDL, English proficiency, and the ability to work overnight shifts as needed. Physical demands include lifting and moving items, with overtime and weekend schedules possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year truck driving preferred.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for reports and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport product from warehouse to customer on assigned route.
• Unload product from trailer using hand cart or by hand as needed.
• Load/unload damaged goods and returns; transport to SYGMA warehouse.
• Complete paperwork per DOT logs, inspections, and invoices; report damages promptly.
• Maintain food safety protocols and sanitary vehicle/warehouse conditions.
• Follow safe work methods and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain and operate equipment including hand cart and pallets.
• Build good customer relationships with courteous service and clear communication.
• Inform management of deviations to route, trailer, or loading issues.
• Handle backhauls and line hauls; ensure on-time delivery.
• Work assigned schedule including overtime; maintain attendance.
