Job summary

Contract Lumber in Alvin, Texas is seeking a local CDL-A truck driver for the day shift. Home every night with a 40-hour baseline schedule and overtime potential, plus full benefits and profit sharing.

Local runs only, must be able to load/unload, perform DOT-required inspections, and maintain accurate paperwork. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and strong communication with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required.
• Must meet DOT driving record requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Reliable and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material.
• Inspections of delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy.
• Ensure loads are safely secured before leaving yard and/or job site.
• Communicate clearly with employees, management, and customers.
