Job summary

Contract Lumber, Inc. in Cartersville, GA hires a CDL‑A Driver for local runs. You will load, secure and deliver material while keeping DOT paperwork in order and ensuring safe loads. Home every night with a Monday–Friday dayshift, 40 hours weekly and overtime opportunities as needed.

The role offers full benefits, profit sharing, and a 401K. Pay ranges from $22–$26 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with forklift operation or willingness to learn Piggyback/Princeton.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and meet DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material to local jobsites.
• Inspect delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork and check load accuracy.
• Ensure loads are safely secured before leaving yard or site.
• Communicate clearly with team, management, and customers.

Day to Day

• Load, secure, and deliver material
• Inspections of delivery vehicles, per DOT requirements
• Maintain all required paperwork
• Check load for accuracy
• Ensure all loads are safely secured before leaving yard and or job site
• Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers
• Have Fun and Enjoy What you do!!

Skill Set

• Great Attitude and a Team Player
• CDL A License
