Job summary

Contract Lumber in Hillsboro, AL is hiring a CDL-A driver for local, home-nightly routes. Pay is $26-$28 per hour, with overtime available, on a Monday–Friday 1st shift.

We offer full benefits, profit sharing and a 401(k). Duties include loading, securing and delivering material, DOT inspections, and maintaining required paperwork. A clean DOT driving record and ability to lift up to 80 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• CDL A license required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Local runs; home every night.
• Must maintain DOT-compliant driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, and deliver material.
• Inspect delivery vehicles per DOT requirements.
• Maintain all required paperwork.
• Check load for accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Ensure loads are safely secured before departure.

Day to Day

• Load, secure, and deliver material.

• Maintain all required paperwork.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, management, and customers.
