Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a full-time Driver to transport and deliver building materials using a tractor-trailer from the Dunmore, PA area. The role includes long-haul runs, customer service, and accurate record-keeping, with a daily base pay starting at $30.00 per hour.

The position requires a Class A CDL, 2+ years of driving experience (preferably long-haul), ability to pass drug and background checks, and willingness to tarp loads. Overtime and weekends may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum of two years experience as a truck driver, preferably long-haul.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to tarp and strap flatbed loads.
• Experience operating trailer-mounted forklift.
• Familiarity with GPS and AVL units.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of loading/unloading cargo.

Responsibilities

• Drive long distances to deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers, and job sites.
• Typically 2–3 days OTR.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo safely.
• Maintain delivery records including logs of hours and miles.
• Perform regular vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Comply with traffic laws and company policies.
• Plan efficient routes using GPS and other tools.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and coworkers.
• Monitor traffic and weather for safe driving.
