Job summary

Cresco Equipment Rentals has a need for a Driver - Class A based at our Oakland, CA location. The driver safely transports rental equipment, delivers and retrieves gear, inspects conditions, and maintains documentation per DOT and company standards.

The role requires a Class A CDL, DOT Medical Certificate, and a minimum of three years of commercial driving experience, preferably in heavy industrial environments. A strong safety record and professional conduct are essential.

Qualifications

• Must maintain updated knowledge of applicable DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas machinery, and diesel machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, load, unload, secure, and transport rental equipment using delivery trucks and trailers.
• Follow delivery and pickup instructions from Dispatcher and/or Manager.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure DOT compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and fuel/equipment usage as directed.
• Deliver and retrieve equipment to and from customer sites and demonstrate proper use.
• Promote a professional company image through safety and customer service.
