Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers in Birmingham, AL. You’ll operate modern equipment on local routes, be home every night, and play a key role in delivering freight on time and damage-free.

Qualified candidates have 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat/Tanker endorsement (or willing to obtain within 60 days), a clean MVR, and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record.
• No DUI within last 5 years (no more than 1 in lifetime).
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.
