Job summary

Central Transport is seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our San Marcos, CA location. Join a team with consistent routes, modern equipment, and home daily.

You will handle pickup and delivery duties, ensure on-time and damage-free freight, and unload trailers at end of routes. Required: 3 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days, clean MVR, and ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
• No DUIs within the last 5 years (0 or 1 in lifetime).
• Must pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer upon completion of daily route.

Central Transport is currently seeking Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers at our location in San Marcos, CA. Our Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers are the face of our company and vital to our customer relations. They are responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free. Our drivers also unload their trailer upon completion of their daily route.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)
• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
