Palmer-Donavin in North Jackson, OH is hiring a full-time Day shift Delivery Driver to safely deliver materials to customers. You’ll inspect vehicles, secure cargo, and maintain DOT-compliant documentation while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications include 1–3 years CMV driving experience and a current Class A CDL. The role offers weekday hours with overtime as needed, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package. Starting pay is $25-28/hr, Monday-Friday, home every night.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent commercial motor vehicle driving experience.
• Current and valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, PSP, MVR, DOT checks, and medical certificate requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain vehicle and safety equipment to ensure readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Secure cargo for safe transport and perform pre-trip inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures during transit and delivery activities.
• Operate tractor trailers to deliver materials to customer locations.
• Load/unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation per company and DOT requirements.
• Obtain delivery receipts, customer signatures, and payments when required.
• Provide professional customer service and maintain positive customer interactions during deliveries.
