Job summary

ABC Supply, America’s largest wholesale distributor of exterior and interior building products, is seeking a licensed CDL Driver in Columbus, OH. You will ensure safe deliveries, document each stop and load, and work with the Delivery Material Handler to position materials at customer sites.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, logging paperwork, and providing invoices on completion. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service while keeping you home every night.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class A or B
• Ability to lift 75–100 pounds repeatedly
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens are required
• Flatbed truck experience preferred
• Trailer mounted forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensure safety of each delivery from start to finish
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow directives precisely
• Document every delivery by taking/uploading photos with the camera phone system
• Perform a thorough load check before leaving the branch
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to place and unload materials
• Complete logs and government paperwork accurately and timely
• Provide customer invoicing and collect COD on deliveries
• Possibly perform warehouse tasks (loading/unloading) as assigned
