CarMax is hiring a Fleet Driver I to ensure vehicles reach the right places on time, contributing to smooth operations and reliable service. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT/FMCSA standards, and professional interaction with vendors and store teams.

You will drive in all weather, perform vehicle load securement, and maintain logs and paperwork while supporting CarMax's inventory flow and customer commitments.

Competenze

• Must be 21+ with a valid state driver's license.
• Valid Class A CDL with 2+ years driving experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and secure vehicles.
• Able to climb, bend, kneel for multi-level transport decks.
• Ability to meet DOT & FMCSA qualifications.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• No serious violations in past 3 years.

Mansioni

• Safety first - pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT/CarMax standards.
• Maintain accurate and compliant DOT logs and documentation.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Move vehicles between CarMax locations using a company-provided truck.
• Deliver vehicles on time to support inventory flow.
• Represent CarMax professionally with vendors and staff.
