Job summary

Sealevel Construction, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our Louisiana team. This role focuses on heavy haul operations, strict safety compliance, and delivering cranes, equipment, and materials to job sites.

You will inspect and maintain vehicles, log hours per DOT rules, plan routes with GPS, secure loads, and assist with loading/unloading as needed. A valid CDL Class A license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class A license.
• Five years or more of heavy haul driving experience preferred.
• Experience with dump trucks preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT and local driving laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Promote and adhere to the company’s safety program.
• Drive tractor-trailer combinations to transport products and equipment.
• Inspect the truck for mechanical and safety issues and perform basic maintenance.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status per regulations.
• Plan routes using GPS and load/secure equipment for transport.
• Ensure all load-related documentation is complete and accurate.
